Ahh this one hits close to home. As my parents were also affected by a similar situation back in 2017. They owned a neighborhood corner store down in Lakewood. The landlord was unwilling to renew a longterm lease literally right around the time my parents planned to sell and retire. It really messed up their plans. We didn’t blame the landlord, it’s just business. I’m sure they had their reasons. My parents were able to retire comfortably anyway by the grace of God. But I truly miss their little store. I’m sure the neighbors miss it too!
